Biography
Filip Maciejuk is a Polish road cyclist who rides for Movistar Team. He was born on 3 September 1999 in Puławy. He is a rouleur and time trial specialist, strong on flat terrain, and Movistar says he is reliable in team work and able to control the pace of the peloton on demanding days.
He turned professional in 2018 with Leopard Pro Cycling. As a junior he had won the Polish time trial title in 2016 and 2017 and taken bronze in the time trial at the 2017 Junior World Championships. In 2018 he won the Carpathian Couriers Race overall, and in 2021 he won it again, together with L’Étoile d’Or, where he took the opening time trial. He rode for Bahrain Victorious in 2022 and 2023 and for Red Bull–BORA–hansgrohe in 2024 and 2025, and he was Polish time trial champion in both of those seasons.
After a crash in the peloton at the 2023 Tour of Flanders, the UCI Disciplinary Commission found that he had left the course and caused it, and suspended him for 30 days starting on 25 July 2023.
Maciejuk began 2026 without a team. Movistar signed him on 27 January on a one-year contract, as the 28th member of its men’s squad, and later extended the deal to the end of 2027, announced on 14 October. He said he had adapted well to his first season with the team. His best result was second place in the Polish time trial championship on 25 June. In the spring classics he worked for his leaders and finished 92nd at Milano–Sanremo, 107th at the Tour of Flanders and 54th at Paris–Roubaix. He also rode the Tour de Romandie and the Tour de Pologne, and in October he was fourth with Poland in the mixed relay at the European Championships.
