The Tour de France 2027 official route stages have been officially confirmed by Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO), presenting a monumental 114th edition defined by staggering numbers. Time trialists will face their most significant opportunity in over a decade. With 71 total kilometers against the clock split between Stage 7 (38 km from Blois to Chambord) and Stage 16 (33 km around Toulouse), GC contenders who excel at solo power tests will hold a distinct advantage before entering the mountain blocks.
The climbing sequence progresses sequentially through the Massif Central, Jura, Alps, and Pyrenees. Three high-altitude summit finishes will prove decisive:
- Stage 9: Summit finish atop the grueling Grand Colombier.
- Stage 11: Summit finish at Les Saisies.
- Stage 18: Queen Stage finish on the Col du Portet (2,215 m), the highest point of the entire race.
All technical regulations and stage timings strictly adhere to Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) WorldTour guidelines, with official race maps hosted by LeTour.fr.
